This unusual Torchon mat 8.75 inches x 5.625 inches was made with 60/2 Linen. The pattern was taken from "Torchonmuster Bunt Gemischt" by Brigette Bellon.
The white mat was made by Madge Carey and the unbleached version below was worked by

This is a very easy pattern to do, once you understand that it is worked up and down with sewings to join the lines. Only 14 pairs of bobbins are required
