An experiment with colour.

 

After working many pieces in white thread I wanted to try a piece in colour. This Bruges lace basket of flowers seemed a suitable pattern to use.

The cotton used is Special Dentelles DMC 80  in various colours. The Pattern was from Sandra Langworthy's collection, and I thank her for her patience and guidance over the years I have attended her classes.

 

I started the piece in September 2007 and finished it in May 2008.
